Troubleshooting
Short, practical checks for the most common Hera issues.
Charge Hera for at least 10 minutes with a known-good USB-C cable and power source. Then press and hold the hardware control and check for a status light.
Keep Hera close to the phone, confirm Bluetooth is enabled, reopen the Hera app, and verify that the app has the required nearby-device permission.
Confirm that Hera has power and available storage, select Room Mode or Call Mode, and check the visible recording state before continuing.
Reconnect in the app. Keep Bluetooth enabled for discovery, or connect Hera and the phone to a suitable Wi-Fi network for larger recordings and Quick Sync.
Keep the microphone openings unobstructed, place Hera closer to the conversation, and avoid rubbing fabric, loud fans, or direct contact with vibrating surfaces.
First confirm that the complete audio file has synced. Processing time can vary with recording length and connection quality; keep the app online and refresh the recording later.
A reset can remove pairing and network settings, and unsynced recordings may be at risk. Sync important recordings first and contact Hera Support if you are unsure.
Email support@heraai.co with your order number, phone model, software versions, device state, and a short screen recording if possible.
